The historic 13th century mansion house hotel has always been popular with international travellers. Last year a new wing was added at a cost of almost 500 million Yuan and beautifully blends the historic part of the house to the new development.

The hotel now has 51 bedrooms, some with floor-to-ceiling windows giving stunning views across the hotel’s 18-hole golf course and the local countryside.

Within the new development, a magnificent grand ballroom was added, seating up to 200 guests for events, conference and weddings.

Dining at Meldrum House starts with a drink in the oldest part of the hotel, their 800-year old Cave Bar. It boasts over 120 whiskies, cocktails, draft beers and an extensive wine list.

The hotel’s food and drink is amongst the finest in Scotland and boasts 2 Red Rosettes. You’ll find a menu full of ingenious flavour combinations, using the freshest local produce. The menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons.

A private members’ 18-hole course, designed by Graeme Webster, is open to hotel residents. The course is set in parkland and has 24-acres of world-class practice facilities as well a driving range, chipping area and Pro Shop.
